We realised there was a real need for a professional driving school with a difference ~ a friendly, professional service ~ from “real” people who care. We wanted to provide our pupils with more of a personal touch ~ learning to drive is a big event for everyone who decides to, and we support our pupils in many different ways throughout. There’s always someone at the end of the telephone to offer help and support ~ and our instructors will tailor their lessons to suit your needs. We’re still family run, just a little bit bigger now! But our original beliefs and values remain at the core of our service.
Eezydrive is proud to be approved by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) , and to be a member of the Motor Schools Association (MSA) . These organisations are dedicated to raising the standard of driving tuition – and they set strict standards for instructors.
All of our instructors volunteer for Continual Professional Development and are Disclosure Scotland checked as standard ~ they are professional, personable people. Although we’ll still employ other fully qualified driving instructors to work with us, we’ll also be training our own instructors as well ~ to further ensure they meet the standards we set. All Eezydrive trainees ~ whether initially trained by us or elsewhere ~ are closely monitored, and regularly assessed throughout their training, by our in-house trainer.
Thereafter, our instructors are regularly monitored by our instructor trainers, to ensure their performance and abilities remain at the same high level. They are actively encouraged to seek further training to ensure their continual professional development. We also retain the services of a former DVSA examiner, to inspect our driving instructors ~ and our driving instructor trainers ~ from time to time. We feel it’s important that our instructors have access to highly qualified, highly experienced professionals should they ever need any support or advice throughout their career ~ so they are best placed to support you when learning to drive.
With Eezydrive, it’s not just your instructor that you can expect help and support from. Our office is staffed well outwith business hours so you can contact us for help or advice any time you need it ~ through a variety of ways (phone, email, through our website, text ~ even Twitter or Facebook!) Whatever it is, it doesn’t need to wait until your next lesson. You’re not just our customer for the hour or two of your lesson every week!
We also offer help with the Theory & Hazard Perception. Given that there’s no longer a Theory Test centre in Fife, we wanted to help more of our customers pass first time ~ as you now have to travel to Edinburgh, Dundee or Stirling to take the test!
We’re dedicated to road safety, which is why we’re affiliated with the road safety charity; Brake ~ we don’t just want you to pass your test, we want you to be a safe driver, for life.
Our customers are a very varied group ranging from the young to the not-so-young. They include many beginners who have never been behind the wheel; people who took a few hours of tuition some time ago and are looking to now attain their licence; those who are returning to driving and are looking for a refresher course ~ and we have assisted a large number of newly qualified drivers who were taking lesson for the Pass Plus qualification or those just looking for a couple off hours specifically on motorway driving or snow driving. We also have drivers from overseas taking driving lessons with us. They are new to the UK, and want to learn to drive in Britain. (Please see DVLA for more information)
We believe that everyone should have access to professional driving tuition at an affordable price from reliable, personable instructors! We believe you should receive support throughout the process in every way possible. We want you to enjoy the experience of learning to drive ~ and become competent, confident, safe, happy drivers ~ for life.
We hope this goes some way to letting you know what we’re all about, but if not ~ as always ~ contact us and ask!
